Jason Cozby, PT, DPT, OCS
Jason is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), researcher, and published author. He is also a clinical professor in the graduate physical therapy program at the University of Southern California (USC), the number-one ranked program in the country. He grew up in Bakersfield, California, and moved to Los Angeles where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Gerontology at USC. He continued with post graduate studies at USC, earning his doctorate in physical therapy and then completing his residency in orthopedic physical therapy. Jason had over 10 years of experience in private practice in Orange County before leaving to create the orthopedic department and residency program at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. He uses innovative approaches that include hands-on manual therapy, movement re-education, and exercise. Jason loves spending time with his family, preferably in the outdoors where he can be found backpacking, running, rock climbing and surfing.
Ari Baquet, PT, DPT, CSCS
Ari is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He grew up in New York City and later attended the University of Southern California to study economics and physiology. He started his career as a sports journalist in Colorado, before returning to USC for his doctorate in physical therapy. He has conducted research on running and on tendon disorders with the US Navy and USC, respectively, and has presented at the national conferences of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Physical Therapy Association. Presently, he is an orthopedic clinical specialist resident with Kaiser Permanente in Pasadena. Ari is a passionate mountain biker and skier who appreciates the value of healthy movement in getting the most out of life.
Reman Rajab, PT, DPT
Reman is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is passionate about working with people with both neurologic and orthopedic conditions. She was born and raised in Washington D.C where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Community Health at George Mason University. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree at the University of Southern California where she discovered her love for improving patients' health through the connection of the brain and the body. Her clinical training included outpatient orthopedics, a functional movement disorders clinic where she gained experience treating patients with Parkinson's, Dystonia, Multiple sclerosis, Stroke, persistent pain, inpatient cardiopulmonary and home-health. Reman is whole-heartedly committed to her patients and enjoys partnering with them to hear their stories, and aims to empower them to unlock their movement potential. She also completed other training such as PWR!, Optimizing Movement Skill, and TRX, to increase her skills to provide the best care possible. Reman’s favorite type of workout includes challenging her brain and body with boxing. She loves spending her free time with her husband outdoors and looking for the best dessert in town!
Nicole Vandevelde Cozby, PT, DPT
Nicole is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in working with people with neurologic and vestibular conditions. She grew up in La Canada, California, and obtained her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. After returning from the East Coast, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at USC. Following graduation, she trained and collaborated with some of the best in neurologic physical therapy at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where she also helped develop its cardiac rehabilitation program. Nicole is credentialed in Vestibular Rehabilitation through Duke University. She founded NeuroSport Physical Therapy with a drive to provide quality care for individuals with neurologic & vestibular conditions. She is passionate about helping people move and feel better. Nicole loves spending time with her family including a spunky five-year-old daughter and two-year-old son. She is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, backpacking, and running.
Jane Podrebarac, PT, MPT
Jane graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona in 1998 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy and has over 20 years experience working with individuals with neurologic, cardiovascular, and orthopedic injuries. She is passionate about helping people with complex medical conditions regain balance, strength and mobility. She is a great motivator and advocate for her patients. Jane stays busy outside of the clinic with her husband and 4 children playing sports and is involved in the special needs community in the Pasadena area.
Dorothy Bourgeois de Apodaca
Dorothy, our front desk Maven, is a semi-retired IBCLC who enjoys helping people, dancing, television and film, and aggressive sports. She also enjoys questionable literature and long walks...not at the same time, because that's dangerous.
